Swedish Massage
is a routine of smooth, gliding strokes that knead and stretch muscles from head to toe. Benefits include increased blood circulation, relaxation, decreased stress and muscle tension and improved range of motion. This is the most common form of relaxation massage.

Deep Tissue Massage
uses slow strokes and deep pressure on contracted areas of muscle, tendons and fascia. This technique is similar to Swedish massage, but with more intense pressure to focus on deeper layers of muscle tissue.

Neuromuscular Therapy
(also known as NMT or Trigger Point Therapy) seeks to address areas of contracted muscle tissue commonly referred to as “knots”, or an area of muscle that is sensitive to touch and often gives the sensation of “referred pain” (pain that may be felt away from the source of irritation.) NMT is used to treat conditions such as chronic pain, sciatica, rotator cuff dysfunction, carpal tunnel syndrome, TMJ and migraines. NMT is the most effective form of massage therapy for lower back pain.
